The ones every DJ asks first.
Will it mess up my Serato library?
No. Sorted only adds crates inside a folder called Riddims. It doesn't move, rename or delete a single file, it backs your library up first, and there's an Undo button. Thousands of crates have been written this way without a lost track.
Does it upload my music?
No. It sends a short audio fingerprint, a few kilobytes of numbers, and gets a riddim name back. The song never leaves your computer.
What if it gets one wrong?
Right-click the track, choose "Not on this riddim", done. Sorted learns from it, and so does everyone else's copy.
Does it work with rekordbox?
Yes. Sorted writes a file rekordbox imports in three clicks, and the riddim goes into Comments so it shows on CDJs. We're working on direct writing.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from inside the app. No emails, no phone calls. Your crates stay in Serato after you cancel; they just stop updating.
How many riddims does it know?
Over 30,000, from Studio One in the 1960s to this month's soca, with every known cut. New riddims land within days of release.
